The Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) is installed at all sites using Agfa Impax 6. This stores all imaging digitally and can be accessed for immediate review from any PC in the Trust.

We use HSS CRIS as the Radiology Information System which allows us to receive electronic referrals, vet all referrals, book appointments and produce imaging reports.

Email Notifications

All imaging reports can be found on iCare/Concerto. In addition, urgent reports are emailed directly to consultant referrals internally, these can also be delegated to another member of staff to receive as well. Other reports are sent via daily reports or when each report is issued – depending on referral preferences.

Rejected requests are also emailed back to the consultant and referrer with information on why the request is rejected.
